In your infinity is an intimate ritual performance that invites remembrance, stillness, and slowing down. During this season of lengthening nights, candlelight, and All Souls’ Day, we pause to reflect on the perpetuum mobile — the great eternal motion of which we are a part. The program draws on the flowing, almost meditative power of Gregorian chant and the music of Hildegard von Bingen, as well as contemporary compositions inspired by them, including works by Andrew Smith and Diederik van der Laag. Hera weaves these contemplative melodies together with hidden gems from the European women’s choral repertoire.
